A canvas that gets out of the way
inkin.space is a drawing surface with no account wall, no subscription, and no upload step. Open it, draw, keep the file. That is the whole product.
Why we built it
Sketching software has drifted toward collaboration and billing. The simple act of drawing a box, an arrow, and three words now comes with a sign-up form, a template gallery, a workspace picker, and a nag to upgrade before you can export what you just made.
We wanted the opposite: a page that loads instantly and puts a pen in your hand. No file browser, no project setup, no "untitled board" naming ceremony. Just a canvas that is already bigger than your screen and already saving.
What it does
- Freehand pen, straight lines, rectangles, ellipses and an eraser
- Rich text with font, size, weight, underline and alignment controls
- Shape snapping, perfect circles and a hand-drawn sketch mode
- Select, move, resize, duplicate and delete individual strokes
- Multi-select with marquee or shift-click, plus align, distribute and reorder
- Infinite pan and zoom from 10% to 800%, anchored to your cursor
- Undo and redo across the full session history
- Export to PNG or SVG, and save or reopen drawings as JSON
Built local-first
Every stroke is persisted to your browser's localStorage as you draw. Nothing is
transmitted anywhere, which means the app keeps working on a plane, in a basement, or behind a
locked-down corporate network. When you want a permanent copy, you export it yourself.
No analytics, no trackers, no accounts. If a feature would require sending your drawing to a server, it does not belong in inkin.space.
Made by Ragasave Labs
inkin.space is part of Ragasave Labs, a small studio that builds focused, local-first utilities — tools like Vault Track for budgets and stock. The through-line is the same everywhere: find a bloated, overpriced piece of everyday software, and replace the useful 10% of it with something fast and free.
